Bookshop Breakfasts

12 December 2010 » No Comments

A couple of diary dates for you, brought to you by the ever belletristic (blimey) good folk of the Wivenhoe Bookshop:

“We bring in the New Year with our special, brand new improved Philosophy Breakfast beginning in January 2011.

We’ll be running two courses, a five-week introductory course from January, and in February a five-week reading course for both beginners and the more experienced. Coffee and croissants included. Get a flavour of Philosophy Breakfast.”

I’m sure the concept behind a Philosophy Breakfast is a bit more than simply asking if a croissant isn’t a croissant, then does it really exist? Best get down to the Bookshop and experience for you.

Oh – and anyone walking around downtown can’t have failed to notice the wonderful window display currently on show at the Wivenhoe Bookshop. With the theme of the Twelve Days of Christmas, the traditional bellowing out of the FIVE… is substituted for FIVE GOOD BOOKS.

Only five?
