[...] Another Sunday, another cold afternoon spent at Speaker’s Corner in the fine company of @billybragg. I’m quite getting use to this routine of taking the fight against RBS bonuses to the mean streets of W1R. With an election looming, hopefully the mixing of pop prose ‘n politics won’t have to run all the way through to the summer months. [...]

Hi, enjoyed your piece, I went to hear Billy at Speakers Corner too. Good speech, and while not a hugh crowd (it was never likely to be) very successful in generating publicity for his campaign.

The more people hear of it the more it will gather support I think, and something has to be done. The argument that we have to pay millions to keep the great "talent" that ruined RBS and the economy in the first place, is laughable. It is a disgraceful gravy train, pure and simple, and at our expense too.

Jason, fantastic article - you've articulated what I can't about why we were there and how we felt ( 3 of us in your pic - one only 11, possibly not as passionate as I...). I also was far too shy to actually talk to anyone there - but will be back again this Sunday...

Hi Mark

How very kind to be asked if the audio can be used. Of course it is fine to do this - I think it was an incredibly moving speech, that needs a wider audience (plus I reckon technically, the copyright remains with Billy!)

I've sent an email.

Many thanks

Hi Jason,

I have been talking to Billy Brag about using the audio from his speech to make a piece of music to distribute the message further. Billy said he will contact you and let you know he has given me permission to use it, please could you let me know the easiest way for you to get an audio clip to me?

Thanks
